Authenticity

Dr. M. A. Alwar will be overseeing our program. Dr Alwar is the president of Samskriti Foundation and he is also the Acharya or spiritual leader of Nathamuni Smapradaya, which is the same tradition that Sri Krishnamacharya came from. At least half of all asana or postural practices worldwide can be traced to the teachings of Sri Krishnamacharya who is often referred to as the “Father of Modern Yoga.” Studying yoga philosophy with the Mysore Sanskrit community can help us to deepen our understanding of the yoga postures we love to practice and to integrate yoga into our lives in a more meaningful way.

Mysore Yoga Traditions and Samskriti Foundation

We are collaborating to offer outstanding education in yoga! Yoga texts are full of cross references. When we study with expert scholars who grew up with these texts we are able to experience the world view and inner teachings of these texts to gain a much more complete and meaningful understanding of them.

Our mission extends beyond a mere business endeavor. It's a heartfelt commitment to give back to the Mysore community, to acknowledge its great scholars and elevate the quality of education in the global yoga community. Your yoga journey holds utmost importance to us, and we genuinely value your support!
