Mysore Yoga Traditions Presents

September 17th through October 15th 2025

Join Andrew Eppler and friends for a five-week introduction to the culture and history that shaped modern Ashtanga Yoga. Together we’ll trace how practice developed in Mysore and traveled worldwide, listening directly to elders, Sanskrit scholars, and spiritual leaders who have served this lineage for generations. You’ll hear from early students of Sri Krishnamacharya and Pattabhi Jois, figures connected to Mysore’s institutions—such as the Principal of the Maharaja’s Sanskrit College—and Superintendent of Jaganmohan Palace, gaining a clear view of the living yoga tradition which has existed in Mysore for hundreds of years.
